Plötulopi ist Islandwolle in ihrer reinsten Form. Als sogenanntes "Vorgarn" (ungesponnenes Platten-Lopi) bietet es ein Strickerlebnis, das so authentisch ist wie die Landschaften Islands selbst. Da das Garn nicht verzwirnt ist, bleiben die Fasern extrem luftig, was zu Strickstücken führt, die unvergleichlich leicht und dennoch unglaublich warm sind.
